Equities 4 Equity organized a food donation drive in Nepal to mark the UN World Food Day 2022. With the support of our Nepali volunteers from Nepal Medical College, we distributed 72 food bags to older women and mothers with young children, who are at risk of starvation. On 16th October 2022,our volunteers out to these women living in a community at the India-Nepal border, close to Siliguri.
Each E4E food bag contained 5 kg rice, 2kg dal, 2 kg sugar and 2 L vegetable oil. Below are a few images of the people who received the food supplies
